Every student’s journey with Tutor4U begins with a detailed diagnostic assessment, designed to map their ILP- Individual Learning Profile. Instead of relying on guesswork, we use tailored, exam board-aligned assessments to identify both subject strengths and development areas.
Students complete a subject knowledge test based on their qualification level (GCSE or A-Level) and exam board (AQA or OCR). The questions span key business topics — from marketing and finance to human resources and operations.
They will then complete a series of extended response, case study based questions — giving a clear view of which areas are secure and which need reinforcement, including:
- Key terminology
- Key theories and models
- Formulae and calculations
- Ability to building structured, well-supported arguments
- Analytical evaluation
This dual-layered approach results in a personalised achievement profile that pinpoints gaps in knowledge, highlights exam technique needs, and informs a bespoke learning plan moving forward.
